WordPress Design

A WordPress website that looks right, works properly and is easy to run.

I design and build WordPress websites for businesses that want a professional online presence without an agency-sized process. Every site is responsive, fast to load, structured for search and handed over in a state you can manage yourself.

Who this is for

This service is a good fit if you are…

  • Businesses launching a first proper website
  • Organisations whose current site looks dated or is hard to update
  • Owners moving from a website builder to WordPress
  • Teams that need a clean rebuild on a reliable foundation
What's included

How I can help.

Discovery & structure

We agree the goals, the pages, the content and the actions you want visitors to take before anything is designed.

Custom design

A layout and visual style shaped around your brand, not a template with your logo dropped in.

Responsive build

Pages that read and work properly on phones, tablets and desktops.

SEO-ready foundations

Clean headings, page titles, meta descriptions, sitemaps and sensible URLs from day one.

Forms & integrations

Contact and enquiry forms, WhatsApp links, maps, newsletters, analytics and, where needed, online payments.

Handover & training

A walkthrough so you can edit pages, add posts and update content without calling for help every time.

How it works

From first call to finished work.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

We talk through your website, the problem or goal, and what a good outcome looks like.

  2. 02

    Proposal & scope

You receive a clear written scope, timeline and fee before any work begins.

  3. 03

    Delivery

The agreed work is carried out, with progress updates and a chance to review.

  4. 04

    Handover & support

Testing, launch or sign-off, a summary of the work, and support options going forward.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does a website take?

A typical small-business website takes three to six weeks from agreed scope to launch. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback come in.

Can you redesign my existing site without losing content?

Yes. Redesigns are planned so existing pages, posts, media and search rankings are carried over, with redirects set up where URLs change.

Do you use page builders?

Where it suits the client, yes, including Elementor and the WordPress block editor. I recommend the approach that will be easiest for you to manage after launch.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

That is the aim. You receive training, and the site is built so routine edits do not require a developer.
